COURSES
Classes are taking place at the following venues:
East Bridgford Village Hall, Wednesday 9.30 am -11.30am
East Bridgford Village Hall, Thursday 1.30pm -3.30pm
Silverdale Community Centre 1.30pm -3.30pm
These courses end in July.
DAY EVENTS
Summer Events will take place at Orchard Cottage Studio, East Bridgford, during August. These day events provide space for those who want to take time out by being creative in a peaceful environment. You will be looked after with expert tuition, guidance and help with all refreshments and lunch provided. Most diets can be catered for on request.
If materials are required too, a small extra charge will be made but essentially just come along and have a go. People of varying abilities are very welcome and it can be a lovely introduction to art if you are a beginner or a productively creative time for those who wish to develop their skills.

Friday 7th: Wild animals in any media
Saturday 8th: Perspective and shadows
Wednesday 12th: St Ives, boats and seagulls in Acrylic
Thursday 13th: St Ives, boats and seagulls in pen & Wash
Saturday: Basic drawing of interesting things
Wednesday 19th: Flowers in a jar in oils
Thursday 20th: landscape and sky in oils
Saturday 22nd: Basic landscapes and streams in Watercolour
Thursday 27th: Perspective and shadows
Friday 28th: Doorways and ally ways in watercolours
These events will take place at Orchard Cottage Studio in East Bridgford and are limited to 5 people only, less than previous years due to limited access. £55 per person which includes lunch and refreshments – all diets catered for. From 10 am until 5pm

EAST BRIDGFORD VILLAGE SHOW JUNE 27th JUNE
I have a stall at the show ground with my art work for sale. In addition I will be demonstrating portraiture in Charcoal. I ask for volunteers to sit for 10 minutes whilst I sketch and these drawings will be for sale if the sitter wants to keep it. This is something i did last year and every picture was purchased!
Smith and Partners Estate Agent is sponsoring the Show this year and are giving away an incredible prize for a children’s painting competition. Pupils from St Peter’s School, East Bridgford will be invited to take part. I shall be helping to co-ordinate this amazing art event and hope for some wonderful art to be produced so that the winning entries for each year group will be well worth a look at the Smith and Partners exhibition stand. The over all winner will be announced at the Show. It will be a very exciting event.
